Process: Probably factory manufactured. After that, my father has fixed and maintained it all by himself, up to this date.

Emotional Analysis:

I get mixed feelings when I look at this object. I think of my dad, frequently fixing this or other old electronics to lengthen it's lifespan. My father has always been a most economizing person in our family, and I didn't like it sometimes. While I still do think that if we need to spend we must, considering that he's been a sole source of income in our family for a long time, I'm getting to understand his thoughts.

Also I've heard from my mom that he used to disassemble computers as a hobby when he was a teenager and young adult. Even though he majored electronic engineering, as far as I know his job is a bit different from what he has learned in university. I genuinely think it's incredible to nurture mere hobby into fixing any sorts of electronics that our family needs to use.

When I observe this object, I think of a scenery. A sight of my dad, sitting alone at a desk full of wires, parts and all those tools for engineering. And he fiddles with that for hours. Mostly, for our family.

Relevance: Gifted from my dad, to use my Korean SIM card while in UK.
